Founder / CEO

The road that lead Jeff Henry to found BIGSHOT was a little bumpy and paved with some colorful bricks, including a mid-80s bowling career, a DJ gig hosting the “Midnight Snack” college radio show, a nationwide Rave tour and owning three dance clubs. Although he was successful with all his endeavors, none of them seemed to spark passion in him.

Jeff finally discovered that passion when he first designed his own dance club posters. He parlayed passion into career, founding BIGSHOT with one computer in the back bedroom of his hipster rental home in Kansas City's West Plaza district. Although he first dreamed of creating movie posters and "going Hollywood," he found he was happier helping local businesses make a splash in his hometown.

BIGSHOT, nearly 10 years later, is now an established Kansas City ad agency, working up powerhouse momentum. Jeff’s success is the direct result of the hard work and passion he put into every one of those first menu and web designs, not to mention the relationships he cultivated with his clients — many of whom still work with BIGSHOT today.

Jeff holds a BA in art and design and a BA in English from Avila College in Kansas City, Mo. He resides in Brookside, Mo., with his beautiful wife, Paula, and his young son, Hubert, to whom he one day hopes to pass on his beloved bowling ball collection.

If Jeff were a rock star, he knows exactly what he would say at the end of every show, no matter what city: “GOODNIGHT CLEVELAND!”
