Director – New Business Development

David Soxman joined BIGSHOT with a motivation to work for a small firm where he could make a difference on the agency side of marketing, helping business owners and managers grow. Prior to joining BIGSHOT, David spent a total of 18 non-consecutive years with Southwestern Bell, SBC, A.T.&T. — or whatever they call themselves these days — working in sales and marketing. His last position with the company was director of global markets, managing six global account managers and working with Fortune 100 companies.

David has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). He also has post-graduate work at the Conservatory of Music at UMKC in vocal performance, which has opened up his more creative side. After a brief hiatus to pursue a singing career, David continues to utilize his vocal talent on the opera stage.

The coolest present Santa ever brought David was a gold-metal-flaked Schwinn bicycle that had a banana seat, high-rise handlebars and a racing slick on the back wheel. It was truly smokin’ and he looked good riding it.

The worst present Santa ever brought David was a set of hand-crocheted slippers which didn’t fit right and looked even worse. He recently confessed to hiding them so he wouldn’t have to wear them.
