Hi. This is simply a hello. A greeting. A, I'm not a designer, a creative firm, a know it all. I'm a person, like you. I'd like to introduce myself. Hi.
May I Help You? Here I'm asking you a question. For your permission. May I help you. Given that I am a designer and a creative firm, there are some very specific ways I may be able to help you. May I?
The implication here is that by asking your permission, I'm also requesting your trust. In exchange for your trust, I promise to not let my ego, or desire for awards lead you down a path that doesn't ultimately benefit you, my client. I also promise that we will strive to create award-winning work together, but those awards should focus primarily on your industry, not mine.
May I help you? I believe I can. And, since you've agreed to hire me to design something for you, it's a reasonable assumption that you believe this as well. So May I? Only time will tell.
I can help you, if, in the spirit of mutual trust, you allow me to do what I do best. Solve the problem you've brought me. You can help me as well. Help me by clearly defining your business need. Let me know what you're attempting to accomplish. Give me an idea of your goals. Your purpose in hiring me. I can then bring all the skills I have to bear to help you. So, Hi May I Help You? I can. Will you allow that? I certainly would love the chance.
