Building Websites and Relationships

One of the best parts of the advertising business are the relationships that you form. I have been working with the folks over at Shawnee Mission Medical Center for over 5 years now, and when you work with someone that long, you really get to know them and their product.

One result of such a long relationship is it builds true cooperation that consistently produces great work. The new Shawnee Mission Medical Center website, shawneemission.org, is a shining example of great work coming from a great partnership. The website launched at the same time their new tower was dedicated in January of this year. Since that time it has won two awards! The first is a Gold award for Best Health/Healthcare Content - (Hospital with 400+ beds). The second is a Silver award for Best Interactive Site – (Hospital with 400+ beds) - both awarded by the eHealthcare Leadership Awards by Strategic Healthcare.

Winning awards is great, but I personally like the Google Analytics numbers that have repeatedly shown a steady growth of unique visitors and overall traffic to the site through all three iterations of the site that we have overseen. Our partnership with Doug and Nan at Shawnee Mission Medical Center continues to flourish and we are exceptionally grateful to them for being such great clients and allowing us to do the kind of work that both wins awards and serves their growing community of patients so well.
