Here is the setup… We are currently working on a site that has 19 "subsites" contained within it. Each one has their own "Location & Contact" module that displays on its particular pages. Can you imagine how hard it is to find the module for the specific location you are looking for? Since standard HTML comments are stripped out of module titles on save, something else had to be done. Without having to open up each module and viewing its contents, there is no good way to find the one you want to edit until now. To solve this, I wrote a Plugin. The Plugin allows you to choose what you want to use to tell the plugin where a comment start and where it ends. In my case, I like to use "{--" for the Pre-Comment parameter and "--}" for the Post-Comment parameter. When the Plugin is installed and published, instead of typing "Location & Contact", you can now type "{--Location ABC--}Location & Contact". This makes it easy to differentiate between the different Modules. To put it simply, everything between "{--" and "--}" are stripped out. One of the best features is that this works anywhere. It is not limited to content item or even titles. I hope you like it. I know that we at BIGSHOT will be adding it to our arsenal. Want to try this Plugin for yourself?
