For nearly 150 years, the YMCA of Greater Kansas City has helped promote strong families and communities through quality programming, certification and training classes, and sports for children and teens. As a non-profit organization, they are dedicated towards providing membership to everyone, offering a “personal pricing” financial assistance program for those who cannot pay the stated fees. Over 2,000 employees serve the Kansas City Metro every day, giving thousands of community citizens affordable solutions for programs that include day camps, aquatic classes, and community events, such as free finance classes.

Because the YMCA of Greater Kansas City continues to recruit new members each year, they needed a professional solution to increase their online web presence. Ideally, this new website would give prospective members information they need on all YMCA programs and would also help recruit volunteers for events and part or full-time positions.

BIGSHOT™ was able to provide them with an easy-to-navigate, colorful, and informative website that includes 19 sub-sites for each YMCA location in the Kansas City Metro. Other features include member testimonials, news and events, and ways to contribute towards the heath and well-being of the over 125,000 YMCA area metro members.
